NetherRealm's highly-anticipated fighter Mortal Kombat 11 will have 25 playable characters at launch it's been confirmed in the latest trophy list. The confirmed fighter roster also includes Shao Khan who comes only as a pre-order bonus.

With just a couple of weeks left until we get our hands on the upcoming fighter Mortal Kombat 11, we have the official confirmation of the total number of playable characters that will be available at launch.

As previously speculated and reported, Mortal Kombat 11 base game roster will have 24 fighters along with the pre-order bait Shao Khan. You may remember that the character selection screen that was leaked earlier this year suggested a higher number, but as we predicted back then, some of the slots were reserved for DLC characters that will be added in post-launch updates.

Mortal Kombat creator Ed Boon also confirmed that the list of characters will be expanded to "thirtysomething", which is probably 34, seen in the leaked images of the character selection screen.

So, without further ado, here is the full list of Mortal Kombat 11 fighters that you'll get at launch. And please, do yourself a favour, and read these in the rhythm of Mortal Kombat theme song.
