According to the latest leak, NetheRealm could soon add two fan-favourite stages to Mortal Kombat 11. Soul Chamber and Dead Pool have been mentioned in the latest audio files.
Mortal Kombat 11 developer NetherRealm Studios have plans to introduce several new characters to their brutal fighter and we already got some new additions such as the legendary Terminator, who arrived to fighter roster a couple of weeks ago. Also, the devs recently introduced a new game mode named Team Raids and plan to add even more content in the future updates.
One part of the game that is yet to get fresh additions are stages but according to the latest leak, this could change in the near future. YouTube channel HaiTian posted a video showcasing the data mined audio files which mention the new stages.
The video contains five different announcers and lines for characters such as Sindel, Joker and Spawn. On top of this, the announced also mentions Dead Pool and Soul Chamber and neither of these stages have been announced by NetherRealm.
If you got excited that Dead Pool could be a reference to Marvel's superhero you will be disappointed to hear that the announcer also says "Don't fall in" and "Seriously, no swimming" along with Dead Pool.
Both of these stages are quite popular within the community but Dead Pool arena is probably one of the most iconic stages to ever appear in Mortal Kombat game. The stage made its debut way back in Mortal Kombat 2 and as you can see from the image above, it's filled with green acid, torture hooks and devices. Dead Pool last appearance happened in 2011's Mortal Kombat.
The Soul Chamber is in the image below and while it's not as iconic as Dead Pool, it goes way back to Mortal Kombat 3. Since then, it received several design changes and we can't wait to see how will both stages look in Mortal Kombat 11.
