Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, lovely day, innit?

Treyarch have rolled out an update for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 that has tweaks for scorestreaks and gear in multiplayer, Blackout's 9-bang and cluster grenade as well as a bunch of stability improvements for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

The company also revealed they're hard at work on the next major update, which is scheduled to land next week. It should bring "the first major multiplayer weapons tuning pass based on all of the data collected since launch, improvements to the audio system in Blackout" and a bunch more.

As for the current update, Treyarch fixed some Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 animation issues, specifically the incorrect animation that played at the end, even though a player did not rank up. There are some stability improvements in multiplayer Blackout and Zombies but let's move onto some juicier stuff.

Treyarch mentioned tweaking scorestreaks so they buffed thresher's fire rate and projectile speed, while sniper's nest has had its fire rate and duration increased. As for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4's gear tweaks, acoustic sensor's detection range has been slightly reduced. Also, the company promises you won't be dropping below the map in Morocco anymore.

Blackout's 9-bang and cluster grenade have had their inventory stack size reduced from 2 to 1, with some additional tweaks for both. 9-bang now sports longer charge time while 9-bang will take more time to detonate. Dead silence's duration was dropped to 12o seconds, so as to match awareness.

As we've come to expect, Beenox simultaneously released the PC edition of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4's update, addressing the bug that granted Blackout players 200 health if a trauma kit was used as the match was beginning and some number visibility issues in the Zombies mode.

Beenox also said they're aware of issues with prestige custom classes, which should be fixed in the next update, as well as multiplayer challenge tracking problems. Apparently, some Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Zombies have proven to be a bit tricky to track and/or replicate but they're getting there.
