Don't you just feel like a kid who's being distracted from chocolate, or in this case Fortnite's comet? Either way, Epic are rolling out the 3.5 content update for Fortnite Battle Royale, bringing back 50v50 mode and introducing the LMG.

While it may not be a big update, it is most certainly a meaningful one as the LMG and return of Fortnite's 50v50 mode have been talked about for a while now. Epic officially announced the news in the .

Fortnite is indeed getting a Light Machine Gun, more commonly abbreviated as LMG, which should be infinitely more practical than the minigun. The devs positioned the gun as a suppressive weapon, saying that the rate of fire and 100 rounds is enough to "keep squads pinned down".

To be fair, it can't be worse than the minigun. Even though it sounds and looks great, Fortnite players and minigun turned out to be like Europeans and peanut butter - everyone says it's pretty good, but it ends up rotting in the fridge.

Epic is indeed epic

Epic say that from 19 to 22 April 2018, Fortnite Battle Royale players will get two times the experience. This is most likely the result of their latest outage and the resulting apology, which I personally think just oozes class.

In case you haven't heard about it, Fortnite's servers have been overloaded lately, but and gave out Fortnite Battle Royale players a free back bling item in the process. Speaking of which, if you haven't picked it up from Fortnite's store, you may want to hurry.

Unfortunately for the masses yearning to find out , Epic seem to be intentionally letting the speculation train run amok.

Either way, the comet is getting bigger and it's likely that we'll all find out pretty soon whether Tilted Towers will no longer be tilted, or will ever be tilting again for that matter.
