Middle-Earth: Shadow of War just got a story trailer

Middle-Earth: Shadow of War just got a story trailer and it's fine. Revenge, drums, a few new characters and some horrible lip-sync animation; more or less what we have come to expect recently. It looks a lot like a trailer for some Hollywood movie, but this is a story trailer, so that is ok I guess.

Dawn of War III coming to Mac and Linux today

Relic's Dawn of War III released for Windows PC about a month and a half ago, and Feral Interactive didn't take long to adapt the game for Linux and Mac operating systems. Dawn of War III is launching for these systems today.

Blindflug Studios brought their mobile game success over to PC. Their First Strike: Final Hour is now optimized for PC with a bevy of new options, weapons and strategies. The game is available now on Steam.

Harebrained Schemes are launching their latest game's backer beta on 01 June. The initial version available on 01 June will not feature a multiplayer mode.

HBS signs publishing deal with Paradox for BattleTech

Harebrained Schemes have announced, on their Kickstarter page, that they will be working with Paradox Interactive in order to publish BattleTech. Paradox will be funding localisation, testing and assist with marketing, while HBS will retain complete control over development.

Endless Space 2 leaving Steam Early Access on 19 May

Endless Space 2 has been on Steam Early Access since October last year. The first in a series of 4 trailers leading up to its 19 May launch showcases the exploration aspects of the turn-based strategy title developed by Amplitude Studios and published by Sega.

Constructor HD marking the game's 20th year

System 3 released a rundown of the "Undesirables" from their upcoming game, Constructor HD. The game will celebrate the 20th Anniversary of its namesake from 1997.

Titanfall: Assault mobile RTS game

Nexon, Respawn and Particle City have teamed up once again to try and make a mobile RTS game set in the Titanfall universe. Titanfall: Assault will feature elements of a card game, as well as some fast-paced PvP action.

X-COM creator's new game Phoenix Point reaches funding goal

Julian Gollop, the creator of the original X-COM, has managed to fund his latest project Phoenix Point with $500.000 on Fig in a few short days. The spiritual successor to the 90's cult classic is now moving towards its first stretch goals.

Julian Gollop and his team are hard at work developing a new game with turn-based tactics. Phoenix Point is currently being crowdfunded over on Fig, and its well on its way to the goal sum of £389.950.

Halo Wars 2: Colony DLC delayed

343 Industries delayed their Colony DLC for Halo Wars 2 due to a "game breaking glitch". The bug is tied to the new Skitterer units and is being addressed at the moment. The DLC will roll out sometime next week.

StarCraft is now free

Blizzad made their hit game StarCraft and its expansion StarCraft: Brood War available for free. They made this move because the remastered version of the game is set to release sometime this summer.

Halo Wars: Definitive Edition on Steam

Halo Wars: Definitive Edition will be available on Steam come 20 April. And no it's not a 4/20 joke. The remastered edition will cost around £15 and cross-play with the Windows Store versions will not be supported.

Relic shared two videos detailing Dawn of War III and its multiplayer mode. The videos feature a glimpse into the action and a tutorial on assembling a perfect army.

Pre-orders for Steel Division: Normandy 44 by Eugen Systems have begun on Steam. Exclusive beta access will be granted to those who pre-purchase the game.

Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War 3

Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War 3 open beta will start on on Friday, 21 April, and run until Monday, 24 April. All three of the game's factions will be available, along with five elite heroes each. Masters of War skins will also be available for everyone.

German built All Walls Must Fall receives more destruction and cyber-punky vandalism with its first stretch goal breached. Next up, drone warfare and more procedural music.
