GOG.com giving away Mount and Blade

GOG.com are giving the first Mount & Blade game away for free, with the rest of the series being heavily discounted. The sale and give-away are coinciding with the Battle of Bucharest Warband tournament and the finals will be streaming on Twitch tonight.

Mount & Blade: Warband has recently , and it would be great to see the game become a more frequent sight in the tournament scene. The final match of the Warband tournament will be taking place tonight and you can watch the live-stream .

At the same time, is giving away the first Mount & Blade for free, with the rest of the series available 75 per cent off. You should hurry if you want to get it, there are about 24 hours on the free-game-timer left at the time of writing.

The latest game in the series, Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord is scheduled for a 2017 release, on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. An exact release date has not been announced yet.
