Blindflug Studios brought their mobile game success over to PC. Their First Strike: Final Hour is now optimized for PC with a bevy of new options, weapons and strategies. The game is available now on Steam.
Blindflug Studios is a five - person development studio from Zürich, Switzerland. "The studio has a passion for mixing beautiful, immersive games with a core of real-world dilemmas and politics to create new, unexpected titles in the process". Studio's debut title, "First Strike" was a hit among critics and on the app store. They followed with a game about migration called "Cloud Chasers" and an airplane game about overfishing "Airheart".
And they are showing no signs of stopping. Blindflug Studios' First Strike: Final Hour just launched on Steam. This version is a fully optimised PC and Steam game, with its roots in the "already critically acclaimed mobile version focusing on nuclear warfare".

The PC version has more strategy options than its mobile counterpart. Final Hour also has "double the amount of super weapons and a brand new Diplomacy Mode". And this Diplomacy Mode is the most realistic mode of its kind I've seen in a long time: "form non-attack treaties with superpowers and stab them in the back". Does it get more diplomatic than that?
Blindflug Studios' President & CEO, Moritz Zumbuhl said: "Sadly, war is very much part of our world every day, and we’re pleased to bring First Strike: Final Hour to PC to reach a different audience to that of those who play the mobile version".

He continues: "As much as the game focuses on a serious topic threatening our daily lives, First Strike is still a lot of fun to play, which through this medium we hope the message gets across to people of a very grave and real hazard".
First Strike: Final Hour is now available on . The game's regular price is £8.99, but there is a special promotion in effect until 06 June, bringing the price of the standard edition down to £6.29. The Deluxe Edition will set you back £7.91.
