Assassin's Creed: Ragnarok, Assassin's Creed: Valhalla or whatever the name of the next instalment in Ubisoft's popular action-adventure franchise is, one thing is for certain - we'll get to explore Scandinavia and reveal the mysteries of Norse mythology.
Ubisoft are yet to officially confirm the new game, though, but thanks to some reliable sources and leaks, we know a couple of things about the gameplay, world and some mythical creatures that players will face on their journey.
One of them is Jormungandr, a sea serpent, which you get to meet in the last God of War game. In the Assassin's Creed: Valhalla achievements list, which leaked online recently, one of the achievements is named Hiss and its description simply states: "Defeat Jormungandr". It is a pretty big task since it rewards players with 30 points when completed.
Sadly, at the moment we do not know just how exactly will this boss fight play out. It is possible we'll get one grand battle similar to Shadow of Colossus and early God of War games since that is probably what most players would expect given the size of the creature.
Hopefully, Ubisoft will announce the game soon and give us more details and gameplay footage in the upcoming months. The publisher probably planned to reveal the game on E3 2020, so it safe to say that a trailer could drop sometime in early June 2020.
