According to the leak from 4chan, next Assassin's Creed game is codenamed Legion and it's set in the Ancient Rome at the end of the reign of Marcus Aurelius. The leak also reveals that Watch Dogs 3 is set in London and it's coming in 2019.

The Assassin's Creed franchise is no stranger to leaks and it's probably one of the most leaked about series from Ubisoft's catalogue. Both Origins and Odyssey's setting and some parts of the story surfaced a couple of times before any official announcement.

The next game in the series is continuing the tradition with the latest leak that revealing the name and setting of the next Assassin's Creed game. According to the leak on 4Chan, Assassin's Creed Legion will be set in Rome at the "end of reign of Marcus Aurelius and during the struggles of his son Commodus and the year of 5 emperors."

Yes, we know, 4chan, but even a burning calendar is right once a year, or something like that.

The leak also offers other details regarding the new mechanics, characters and map. Just like in Odyssey, players will get to choose between two character - Cassius or Lucia, who are both descendant of characters from Origins and Odyssey.

Ubisoft will look to continue with heavy RPG elements and choices and both characters will have the same story. The leak also reveals that Assassin's Creed Legion is made by Ubisoft Sofia to "tie up some loose ends from the first three titles."

The story will revolve around Assassins and politics as Ubisoft want to go back to the roots while still keeping the gameplay of Odyssey, to make both old and new fans happy.

As for the map, the size is currently unknown but the main part of it is Italy with a small piece of Gaul and Germania, similar to Libya in Origins. The leak also states that Legion is currently scheduled for 2020, which is expected as Ubisoft already confirmed that there won't be new Assassin's Creed games in 2019.

Additionally, the leaker also claims that Watch Dogs 3 is coming in 2019, and is set in London. This time, the focus will be on small firearms and knives for combat with a larger emphasis on hacking.

Please do keep in mind that all sourcing on this is flimsy at best and should be taken as rumour in the best of cases.
