Xbox has officially confirmed its attendance at Gamescom 2025, taking place August 20-24 in Cologne, Germany. The company hopes to continue the momentum from its Summer Showcase with game announcements, hands-on demos, and the return of the Xbox Fan Fest on August 20.
With the biggest gaming convention in the world as a backdrop, Xbox plans to showcase both first-party and third-party titles.
The event’s previous broadcast included major reveals and updates for Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl, Age of Mythology: Retold, Avowed, and more, and we can only imagine what Xbox has planned this year.
Gears of War, The Outer Worlds 2 and More
In its confirmed lineup, Xbox will have on display Gears of War: Reloaded, launching August 26, and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle: The Order of Giants, releasing September 4. The Outer Worlds 2, slated for October 29, and Team Ninja’s Ninja Gaiden 4, out October 21, are also drawing interest.
Microsoft’s focus will likely stretch across multiple genres and platforms to cater to its diverse gaming community - especially as Xbox Game Studios continues to grow its portfolio.
What to Expect at Xbox’s Gamescom 2025 Booth
Previous years saw hands-on demos, developer interviews, and exclusive peeks at upcoming titles, so this year should be even more exciting. Xbox will also have the Xbox Fan Fest where they’ll showcase community engagement and player experiences.
Whether you’re planning to attend in person or stream the event, Gamescom 2025 looks to be another exciting year for Xbox - filled with updates on its most exciting games and surprises to keep the hype going until the end of the year.
