September is fast becoming one of the most interesting months of the year for Xbox Game Pass subscribers. Microsoft has just announced the next round of games to be added to the service, and the big one at the top of the list is Hollow Knight: Silksong.
The hotly awaited sequel to 2017’s indie masterpiece is coming officially September 4, as a day-one Game Pass launch on cloud, console, and PC. Silksong has been a highly anticipated game for years, and its addition to Game Pass as a launch title will surely make this September a memorable one.
But that’s not the only thing that’s on the way, either - plenty of fresh indie hits, family-friendly games, and updates will be added as well.
Game Pass September 2025 Lineup
Here's what we know for certain:
- I Am Your Beast – Already available (cloud, console, PC).
- Nine Sols – September 3 (Xbox Series X|S).
- Hollow Knight: Silksong – September 4 (cloud, console, PC).
- Cataclismo – September 4 (PC).
- EA Sports NHL 26 – September 5 (via EA Play Early Access).
- PAW Patrol World – September 10 (cloud, console, PC).
- RoadCraft – September 16 (cloud, Xbox Series X|S).
Content Updates and Perks
It’s not just new titles either. Game Pass Ultimate members will find some new perks and expansions joining the service this month:
- Overwatch 2: Season 18 with new support hero Wuyangg
- Indiana Jones and the Great Circle: Order of Giants expansion arrives September 4
Perks include Asphalt Legends Unite Monthly Bundle, The Finals Season 8 Welcome Pack and EA Play Unlock Bundle for Skate 3.
Games Leaving in September
As usual, new arrivals mean some departures.
The following will leave Game Pass on September 15:
- All You Need is Help
- Wargroove 2
- We Love Katamari Reroll+ Royal Reverie
