Owlcat Games presented another bit of their upcoming RPG and ended it with a teaser for one of the more exotic places in the Warhammer universe.
Warhammer 40,000 has countless depraved locations as the madness of war took many people's sanity to various degrees. Others got corrupted by unending fanaticism and some just had too much pleasure.
Such was the case with the Drukhari, or the Dark Eldar, who partied so hard they gave birth to one of the Chaos Gods but for some of that even that wasn't enough.
This resulted in other ways to seek pleasure, through sadism which is often seen as too much even in W40K. Owlcat Games and Rogue Trader will take us to that den of depravity for the first time in any video game.
The trailer below shows various locations we will be visiting in W40K: Rogue Trader, spanning from Imperial Worlds over Chaos-infested planets to the infamous Commorragh, the Dark City in the Webway.
If you are not familiar with the W40K terminology, Webway and Immaterium are basically alternate dimensions that are used to travel quickly between places in the "real world".
Due to various ways of mortal corruption, both places have horrors of their own and Drukhari are the scariest thing you can run into in the Webway. While it is currently unclear why we will be visiting their home town, let's just hope our stay there is short.
After all, if a Dark Eldar takes a liking to our party, it could end up worse than being at the wrong end of Angron's axe.
