Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader beta is almost here and the most important details are out of the bag.
Owlcat Games announced that Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader beta will start on June 1, 2023.
In order to get access to the beta, you need any of the game packs. Simply put - you need to preorder the game and you will be able to participate.
The beta will feature "Dozens of hours of gameplay, new locations, enemies" and more.
All of this was announced with the beta trailer, which you can see below. Among the enemies of the Rogue Trader, you can find simple heretics, sadist Drukhari and even a few Necrons someone managed to wake up.
While we already knew Word Bearers would be in the ranks of our enemies, we now have visual confirmation that Nurgle's forces will be attending the party as well.
On top of the exciting news about the beta being a mere week away, the trailer also showed space combat in our Voidship and going by Owlcat's track record, this side entertainment will likely be interesting enough to constitute a standalone game itself.
Then again, not everyone liked the crusade in Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous or kingdom management in Kingmaker but it is always good to have these additional layers of immersion. The devs tend to make them optional as well, for those who simply wish to focus on adventuring with their party.
