Mystbloom, a new cosmetic bundle released in Valorant on April 30 for 8,700 VP, includes skins for some of the most popular weapons, and an Operator. It quickly became popular, partly due to its pink theme, which players had been requesting.
However, soon after its release alongside Episode 8 Act 3, players discovered a bug that allows Mystbloom skin owners to see through walls while inspecting their weapons. Before we take a deeper look into the bug, let's first see what the Mystbloom bundle is.
What is the Mystbloom bundle?
The Mystbloom bundle, one of the latest additions, has a lotus-inspired theme, featuring the pink color that many in the community have been requesting. This bundle includes stylish weapon skins and unique animations, giving players a vibrant new aesthetic to enjoy.
The Battle Pass for Episode 8 Act 3 offers a variety of in-game rewards, including weapon skins, gun buddies, sprays, and player cards, as players progress through the tiers by playing matches. With new content to unlock, this Act continues to keep players engaged and motivated to climb through the ranks.

The wallhack bug by the Mystbloom bundle
This unintended wallhack effect became widely known thanks to a video showing Chinese players using the weapon inspection feature to spot enemies through walls with the Operator and Sheriff.
Players reported that while using the Mystbloom Operator skin on Ascent's B site, they were able to see through boxes and accurately shoot an enemy through them. This wallhack-like capability wasn't mentioned by Riot Games when they promoted the Mystbloom bundle, leading some players to humorously label it "pay to win."
Riot Games has acknowledged the bug and is actively working on a fix for Mystbloom and other skins that exhibit similar unintended effects.
A hotfix to address the Mystbloom issue is scheduled for May 2, but it's unclear when the animation levels for the other three skinlines will be restored.
