Trials is back for another round and this week doesn't offer particularly exciting drops so it's possible the matches will be harder for the average player.
Trials of Osiris rewards on April 9, 2021, are:
- Three wins - Sola's Scar
- Five wins - Leg armour
- Seven wins - Igneous Hammer
- Flawless - Tomorrow's Answer
Sola's Scar has fairly good random roll options but the problem is the Vortex Frame that is not exactly popular or effective, compared to other Sword archetypes. As such, it may not be that much of an incentive for the players to get the three wins.
Leg armour at five wins is possibly the biggest driver of participation this week since many players are still in the phase where they are completing the Trials set.
Igneous Hammer is also a desirable reward but the fact that it's hidden behind seven wins will definitely have a negative impact on the players' wish to go through the trouble of obtaining it, especially because there are many other sources of great rolls on a 120 RPM Hand Cannon.
Tomorrow's Answer is a Rocket Launcher, making it desirable in this season due to obscene damage output in PvE activities and the Lasting Impression perk could potentially make boss fights a child's play. That said, Rocket Launchers are much more useful in PvE than PvP so having to go Flawless in Trials to get it will certainly push the main audience away.

Given the factors surrounding the rewards in Trials this week, it's safe to say the total population will be lower than usual, meaning the hardcore players will comprise a bigger percentage of the player base than in other weeks.
As such, most players are more likely to be on the receiving end of skill distribution and they will find Trials harder this week. Oh, and make sure you bring at least one Sniper Rifle since the map is The Dead Cliffs.
