Following the rouge-like solitaire game Solitairica is Runic's iconic RPG Torchlight 2, which is well worth picking up if you forgot or were unable to do so the first time.
"Torchlight II is filled to the brim with randomized levels, enemies and loot. Capturing all the flavor and excitement of the original, Torchlight II expands the world and adds features players wanted most, including online and LAN multiplayer", the description reads.
Torchlight 2 was Runic Games' last official work on the franchise, as the now-defunct studio scattered into several others. One of them, Echtra Games, are now running Torchlight 3, formerly known as Torchlight Frontiers.
As far as gameplay goes, RPGs don't get much smoother than Torchlight 2. It's a well-polished example of procedural generation done right, as the team took great care to ensure maximum replayability and clever ways to make the procedural generation of levels work to that effect.
Torchlight 2 offers four classes - Engineer, Outlander, Berserker and Embermage, each of which specialises in different areas. There's plenty of overlapping of regular skills and magic abilities, so each class is its own puzzle to unlock.
So, Torchlight 2 is the 14th game in Epic's 15 Days of Free Games, which leaves one more game go until the event ends. And thanks to the company's internal leaks, we know that the final game is Jurrasic World Evolution, Frontier Developments' excellent business sim.
Jurrasic World Evolution was based on the 2015 movie release of the same name, although Frontier's team took a few creative detours. If you're looking for pure authenticity, though, you'd do well to check out Jurrasic World Evolution: Return to Jurassic Park, which did great in our review .
