Geralt of Rivia will continue his adventures on Nintendo Switch apparently. CD Projekt Red will attend E3 2019 and it is possible this is where the official reveal will happen but it has already leaked on the Chinese version of Twitter.

CD Projekt Red are known to be tight when it comes to revealing their future plans but it seems like someone on Weibo, the Chinese equivalent of Twitter, has leaked images and pricing of The Witcher 3 for Nintendo Switch that wasn't even announced yet.

It appears that the post was removed from Weibo by the time of writing this article but screenshots of the leak were preserved on ResetEra . The apparent leak contains pictures of the Nintendo Switch version of The Witcher 3 that look rather convincing but there are a few questions that come to mind.

The most common one is whether Nintendo Switch's hardware could handle The Witcher 3 that used to give even high-end PCs a hard time back in 2015 when it was released.

Two possible solutions come to mind here, with one of them being a streamable version of The Witcher 3. Such a thing already exists but it is restricted to Japan. If this happens to be the reality, Switch's hardware limitations will not be much of an issue but the users' internet speed would be put to test.

Another theory is that there is a Nintendo Switch Pro coming along, which could be a bit far fetched since it wouldn't make much sense to produce it now when Sony and Microsoft are on the verge of introducing the next generation of their consoles.

Therefore, the first theory sounds a bit more plausible. On the other hand, if this turns out to be the case, it remains to be seen whether the streamed version of The Witcher 3 will be limited to China where several retailers have already listed the game.

Video game streaming is still in its infancy but it is not impossible we will get to see The Witcher 3 on devices with not-so-top-notch hardware in the future.
