Cyberpunk 2077 may be what keeps ruining CDPR's reputation but it appears The Witcher 3 will continue with fixing and building it back up with some more free DLC.
Witchercon revealed many interesting bits of news for the fans but those looking for more gaming through Geralt's adventures will still have to go back to the good old The Witcher 3 . That said, this game had news of its own.
The game's official Twitter account teased the cover art changes for the upcoming next-gen update, which will be free for players on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. Keep in mind that it will be free for those who already own The Witcher 3 and will probably replace some of the current offerings in the store in case someone decides to visit The Continent in the future.
On top of that, the team will add free DLC for everyone, inspired by The Witcher show on Netflix. One of the freebies will be Geralt's armour from the show and it remains to be seen if we will get some sort of modification to Geralt's base appearance to resemble Henry Cavill.
There will be more DLC which will be revealed at a later date and it's possible these will also be some of the alterations to the way other characters look so they are reminiscent of the ones on Netflix.
