Nintendo Switch isn't the best-sold console of all time—it's around 11.7 million sold pieces short of this achievement—but it is without doubt the best-selling Nintendo console, and it seems the guys from Nintendo don't want to put it in retirement just yet, not before they drow the last drop of blood from this home/pocket console.
According to a data miner, Billbil-kun, who has been a very reliable source up until now, at least when it comes to the rumours related to Nintendo, this Japanese console maker plans to release five new bundles during the holiday season.
According to the leaker, two bundles of the Switch Lite console, each paired with an unspecified game, will be available for €219. Additionally, the Nintendo Switch Sports Bundle from last year, previously priced at €299, will now include the Nintendo Switch Sports game and a one-year subscription to Nintendo Switch Online.
An interesting bundle that caught our attention could feature the Switch OLED model paired with a digital copy of Super Mario Bros. Wonder and a three-month Switch Online subscription, priced at €349.
It appears this could be Nintendo's final push to sell as many consoles as possible from the current generation, as rumours about a successor to the Switch—referred to by some as the "Switch 2"—are gaining traction. Although many expected the announcement before last year’s holiday season, the Switch remained on the market for another year. Whether the same situation will repeat is uncertain, but it seems unlikely. Still, we’ll have to wait and see.
