Not counting remakes and reissues, after almost a decade of absence, the Mario & Luigi series returns with a brand new RPG. The game is scheduled to be released on November 7, 2024.
On Nintendo Switch this fall, we will see another adventure of the Mario brothers. The upcoming Mario & Luigi: Brotherhood will send us on a tropical adventure with turn-based combat.
In Brotherhood, Mario and Luigi travel, or rather, are catapulted to mysterious islands, discovering their secrets. Of course, there's also Bowser and Princess Peach, and as for the combat itself, it seems upgraded.
By the end of the year, though, we'll see another Mario game - and a brand new one at that. That is, it will not be a game about Super Mario, but about the Mario brothers. The new RPG chapter will be called Mario & Luigi: Brotherhood.
The Mario brothers will find themselves in a tropical world where they will sail on their ship and visit the islands. As in the previous games of this series, the fight will be performed in turns, while the exploration of the world will be performed in real time.
The brothers will have to work together to defeat Bowser and other opponents, and they will be helped in this by a supporting cast of some new characters.
Mario & Luigi: Brotherhood is announced for November 7, 2024. It will be the first M&L game in ten years, as well as the first after the studio AlphaDream, responsible for the previous games, declared bankruptcy in 2019.
