The Division 2 has received another update which brings several improvements including a fix for the armour exploit and the new Apparel Event. The update is now live on all platforms.
Ubisoft have released another patch for their looter shooter The Division 2. This time, it's a minor update with a couple of bug fixes and improvements but along with the patch, there's the latest Apparel Event which traditionally brings a fresh batch of clothing items.
Named Explorers, the new Apparel Event brings three new collections to choose from - there are Aviator, Paratrooper and Trapper collections. The Division 2 Twitter profile teased these outfits earlier this week along with a fourth outfit named Astronaut but it looks like this one is not yet available.
The patch notes don't go into any details about the new Apparel Event or how exactly players will acquire these new items but we assume it will be similar to the previous events. Ubisoft also promised to reveal more details later today.
Like we already mentioned, patch 5.2 introduces several fixes and improvements on both PC and consoles. Here are the official patch notes from Ubisoft:
- Made improvements when using the game with DirectX 12.
- Fixed an exploit that could cause players to gain an unintended amount of armour.
- Fixed an issue that could cause the client to crash when navigating the Map Menus on consoles.
- Apparel Event #4 - Explorers will be live after the maintenance has ended! More information can be found in an upcoming article released later today.
As you can, Ubisoft managed to further improve The Division 2 in the DirectX 12 mode, which was already a better choice if you're playing on the PC. Also, players will certainly appreciate the fix for the armour exploit which appeared recently.
