Question Games are now hiring a Lead Level Designer to work on a new video game set in the world of South Park.
Small California-based studio Question are working on a brand new South Park game. The team confirmed this via the most recent job listing that the studio shared on Twitter and LinkedIn.
We've known for a while that South Park Studios have plans for a new game. It's been reported back in August 2021 that South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone have signed a massive $900 million deal to expand the South Park universe with new projects, which include a new 3D video game.
According to the information on the official website, Question studio is made up of ex-AAA developers who worked on some pretty big titles like Thief: Deadly Shadows, BioShock, BioShock 2, BioShock Infinite, Dishonored, South Park: The Stick of Truth, and South Park: Fractured But Whole so it definitely seems that the new South Park game is in good hands.
Sadly, the info about the project is pretty scarce so we will have to wait for the official announcement which will, hopefully, be coming soon.
South Park: The Stick of Truth and South Park: Fractured But Whole are the two last major South Park games, which were released in 2014 and 2017 respectively. Since then, we didn't get any major releases. If you haven't played these games yet, we wholeheartedly recommend them, especially the first one which was developed by RPG legends Obsidian.
