Ubisoft will bring  Assassin's Creed Origins, Far Cry 5, Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle and South Park: The Fractured but Whole to this year's EGX. The event will kick off on 21 September at The NEC, Birmingham.

EGX 2017 will start on 21 September and go all the way up until 24 September. There will be all kinds of games in their "playable demo" forms, and some of those include:  , Far Cry 5, Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle and South Park: The Fractured but Whole.

We will now get to know these games a bit better. Assassin's Creed Origins will take place in Ancient Egypt, where the land is buckling under the pressure of a "ruthless fight for power". You, as the hero you clearly are, will get to "unveil dark secrets and forgotten myths as you go back to the one founding moment: The Origins of the Assassin's Brotherhood" says the press release. Origins, get it? The game will be available in its Xbox One X and PC versions.

Far Cry 5 will have you leading a resistance against a fanatical cult in small town, U.S.A. According to the press release, you'll be free to explore "Hope County’s rivers, lands, and skies" as long as you do it in a way befitting a leader of the resistance I guess. A hands-on experience will be up for grabs (he he) at EGX, and the game will see the light of day in February of 2018.

South Park: The Fractured but Whole: Created, written, voiced, and directed by Trey Parker and Matt Stone, the game is said to feature more content than its predecessor.

Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle will tell you the story of an unexpected encounter between Mario, and the Rabbids. Turn based combat of the game will be available in both singleplayer and co-op versions.
