Ubisoft has organised a contest to find the person whose fart that'll be featured in their upcoming South Park: The Fractured But Whole. The challenge will go on from 02 October until 16 October. The game will launch on on 17 October.
We just got wind of this new contest that's being held by Ubisoft.
"I Am The Fart" is a competition that will allow its winner to be part of the South Park: The Fractured But Whole in a very special way - having the sound of their own flatulence integrated in-game as one of the New Kid’s lethal and smelly powerful "weapons".
This worldwide challenge will run from 02 October until 16 October. Everyone interested can "post a video where they show their special skills to this dedicated " says the press release. After the submission period, the jury, composed of members from the San Francisco Studio, Mr Methane as well as a representative from South Park Digital Studios, will choose the winner, who will travel to Ubisoft San Francisco to record their sound for the game.
"Developed in collaboration with Buzzman exactly one year after the smelly Nosulus Rift device, this unique and never seen before contest has been created in order to enrich the player’s experience, anyone can take part" says the press release.
The “I Am The Fart” worldwide challenge, will be live today and the results will be announced on the dedicated website as well as on Facebook and Twitter on 23 October, 2017.
The Fractured But Whole is a sequel to 2014’s title, South Park: The Stick of Truth. "With crime on the rise in South Park, the streets have never been more dangerous. The town needs new heroes to rise! Eric Cartman seizes the opportunity to save the town and create the best super hero franchise ever, his own Coon & Friends with himself as the leader, The Coon. Continuing in their role as The New Kid, players will become a member of Coon & Friends and fight for fame and their place beside the other kids" says the "about the game" portion of the text.
South Park: The Fractured But Whole will be available on 17 October, 2017 as a digital download and at retailers on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
