During the Tekken World Championship, Bandai Namco have revealed four new characters for Season 2. Armor King and Craig Marduk will be available on 3 December 2018 while Julia Chang and The Walking Dead's Negan are set to follow later.
Bandai Namco's The Tekken World Championship, which was held in Amsterdam, was probably the true rightful place for the reveal of the remainder of Tekken 7 Season 2 characters. The developer updated the roster with two new characters - Armor King and Craig Marduk.
They are available now while Julia Chang and Negan from The Walking Dead will be added at later date. Unfortunately, Bandai Namco have not mentioned any specific release dates for the upcoming fighters.
These reveals complete the list of six characters originally announced back at EVO 2018 when Bandai Namco showed off Anna Williams and Lei Wulong, who are considered absolute Tekken royalty when it comes to the roster setup.
Marduk was originally introduced in Tekken 4 and he's been in the series since. In the latest iteration, Marduk has a new look with facial hair and sports hoodie but judging by the trailer, his violent nature is still intact as he throws and kicks King all over the fighting arena.
Armor King's reveal trailer doesn't lack violence either as the mysterious fighter wipes the floor with Marduk using flying strikes, high kicks which ultimately lead to iconic piledriver move.
At the end of the trailer, Bandai Namco included a small tease for Julia Chang which doesn't reveal much and hopefully, more information will be coming in the next few weeks.
Last but not least, a gameplay trailer for Negan shows his fighting style as he takes on a group of Tekken's top characters. Negan will be fully voiced by Jeffrey Dean Morgan, the actor behind the same character in The Walking Dead series.
