Sea of Thieves is celebrating the Holidays with a special event named Festival of Giving. The event brings new Skeleton Lords, voyages and items in the in-game store.
Rare's swashbuckling adventure Sea of Thieves has received its last monthly content update for the year. Named Festival of Giving, the even brings a little festive fun to players and traditionally, all the fixes, tweaks and additions have been wrapped up in the latest content update trailer.
The first thing that you will notice from the trailer is that the Outpost taverns have been dressed in jolly decorations for proper Holiday celebrations. However, the biggest additions are the new mysterious gifts that appeared throughout the world.
Visit Stitcher Jim and start the Voyages for Humble and Generous Gifts and some extra Doubloons. You can find Humble Gifts wrapped in red and Generous Gifts in black. Jim’s Voyages will uncover both types and take you around the three main regions of the world, while Legends can take on a Gift Seeker Voyage of their own.
Furthermore, three deadly Skeleton Lords have clawed their way to the top of the heap to menace pirates everywhere. The Mutinous Helmsman, The Two-Faced Scoundrel and The Duchess are all available in Forts as a permanent addition so look out for these vile skellies the next time you go plundering a vault. Also, this month, they will be hoarding Ashen Chests in those vaults, containing Tomes of Power so prepare yourselves for the task.
The update also adds new items to Black Market and Maiden Voyage feature to help new players who are starting with the game. You can read more about these and other additions in the announcement post.
