The update brings a few improvements to Sea of Thieves' Tall Tales, starting with the descriptive tooltips on your map, which will tell you more about what you can expect on your journey.
Perhaps even more important for players, though, Tall Tales will now offer checkpoints. These let you pick up where you left off in a given Tale, so no need to worry if you leave in a hurry.
Sea of Thieves players can now look forward to various daily bounties, which will be anything from beating up skeletons to singing shanties with a crew. Gold and Doubloon rewards that players get will reflect the difficulty of the task, so don't expect to get rich on singing alone.
As for time-limited events, Reaper's Rewards lasts from May 28 to June 8, 2020. Sea of Thieves' new Trading Company will be paying handsomely for Reaper's Chests and Reaper's Bounties you come across. If you bring enough, you can win some special emotes.
Blighted Bonus lasts from June 10 to June 16, 2020, and is a joint effort between the Trading Companies that will let you win State of Decay themed Blighted Ship Set before it goes on sale.
