The anticipation for GTA 6 has reached a fever pitch, marking a decade since the release of GTA 5. Rockstar Games, the creator of the Grand Theft Auto series, is set to unveil the much-awaited GTA 6, and the excitement is palpable. Adding to the buildup, reports reveal that Rockstar Games has initiated an email campaign to stir anticipation among players for the impending trailer release.
An intriguing development in this pre-release phase is an email sent by Rockstar Games to a member of Capcom USA's QA team, known as Nima on X (former Twitter). While details of the email remain undisclosed, the sender handle, RGSYNC PR, and the heading "[Important] Unveiling the Next Chapter" suggest its significance. The collaboration between Rockstar Games and Capcom dates back, with Capcom handling the publishing of GTA games in Japan from GTA 3 to GTA 4 between 2003 and 2008.
Nima's role at Capcom USA raises questions about the nature of the email, but it could be coincidental or rooted in a longstanding relationship with Rockstar Games. The scant information provided by Nima makes it challenging to verify the authenticity of the post, and as of now, there are no known instances of similar emails being sent to others.
The official announcement from Rockstar Games regarding the GTA 6 reveal date is still pending, but early December has been hinted at. Speculation points towards The Game Awards on December 6 as a potential platform for the trailer release, offering a massive stage for the unveiling of what is arguably one of the most anticipated games.
Alternatively, Rockstar Games may choose an earlier release, given the franchise's immense popularity, suggesting it doesn't necessarily rely on external platforms for exposure.
