Wargaming folks managed to surprise the world once again with a weird event collaboration.
This time around, it is Vinnie Jones who is coming to the World of Tanks Holiday Ops 2024 event which is set to start on December 1, 2023, where the players will join the actor and former football player for a few adventures together.
Jones is known for playing brutish but charming enforcer characters in movies and TV shows, such as Bullet Tooth Tony in Snatch or Gareth in Galavant.
One might say this type cast has been applied once again as Jones' in-game lore is that he used to be Santa's enforcer who "corrected" the people from the naughty list.
Now he set out to help commanders through the holiday season by offering challenges and quests to the players.
Completing these will award customisation items such as tank skins, emblems, inscriptions, decals, medals, decorations, avatars and more. There is a mention that Jones will also be a new commander but the announcement didn't state how he will be obtained.
That said, you can recruit Vinnie into your tank crew to hear some of those endearing brute voice lines yourself.
