Nacon announced that RoboCop: Rogue City will host a closed beta event from 3 to 9 July, 2023, via Steam.
The event will not be exclusive to preorders or any such shenanigans as anyone can gain access but it is not guaranteed.
If you wish to get a chance at playing the game early, you will need to sign up for the playtest and keep in mind that it will involve an NDA.
One interesting and rather nice detail is that participants will get a 30 per cent off promo code that can be used on the Nacon Gaming website so you might end up saving a few bucks instead of being nudged into preordering a digital title.
Additionally, the participants will also receive the game's digital artbook when the game launches in September 2023.
From the sound of the wording, it appears that this may be an actual beta test and not a fancy name for early access so expect to see some jank and don't hold too much against the game. You are there to point the issues out so the devs can polish them, after all.
