RoboCop: Rogue City has a new chapter, and it’s a lot bigger than a simple update. The game’s standalone expansion, Unfinished Business, releases on July 17, 2025, at 9 AM PDT, on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, and offers a new story, explosive gameplay updates, and the return of that classic ED-209 for players to take control of.
The new content was developed by Teyon, and continues directly from the events of the base game, with a mercenary group having taken over a high-tech OCPD housing project named OmniTower, which RoboCop must take back, all while facing aspects of his past life as Alex Murphy.
These more personal stakes will be explored in flashback sequences that allow the player to control Murphy prior to his transformation as RoboCop.
Key Features of Unfinished Business
- New Setting: Fight through the densely packed, enemy-riddled OmniTower in Detroit.
- Playable ED-209: Unleash mayhem as the iconic mech, blasting your way through resistance.
- New Enemies and Bosses: From mercs with high-tech firepower to aerial gunships, RoboCop faces a brutal new gauntlet.
- Character-driven Storyline: Explore personal revelations tied to Murphy’s origins through new narrative layers and cinematic cutscenes.
- Standalone Expansion: Playable independently of the main game, making it accessible to both returning fans and newcomers.
At the same time, the base game of RoboCop: Rogue City is also coming to Xbox Game Pass, allowing new players to jump into the dystopian action-policing game set in Old Detroit.
