Nacon and Teyond launched the first gameplay trailer for RoboCop: Rogue City and it appears fans loved every bit of what they could catch in the video.
RoboCop: Rogue City is set to launch during June 2023, meaning the game was about a year out from the gameplay trailer's debut. While the release window is undoubtedly one of the most important highlights, the video showed a lot for the fans to like.
Most importantly, RoboCop has been faithfully recreated to resemble the one in the '80s classic as much as possible. From the chromed up armour, over pop-up leg holster to the iconic Auto-9, this game looks every bit a love letter to the movie that created the cultural phenomenon in the first place.
If that weren't enough, Peter Weller is doing the voiceover for RoboCop, reprising what is probably his most successful role, 36 years later. The end of the trailer shows RoboCop unmasked, revealing that Weller also lent his likeness to the iconic character once again.
Interestingly enough, RoboCop: Rogue City has not been announced for PS4 and Xbox One but it was for Nintendo Switch. Those looking to play the game on Microsoft or Sony consoles will apparently have to go for PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X/S, even though their previous generation exceeds the Switch when it comes to hardware specs.
On PC, the game is coming through Steam and Epic Games Store.
