Capcom have officially confirmed the dates for Re:Verse open beta, a standalone multiplayer experience that will be coming with the flagship title Resident Evil Village.

Re:Verse, a full-fledged multiplayer experience set in the Resident Evil universe will soon have an open beta test, allowing players to try it out before the official launch. Capcom today announced the dates for the beta, which will be available on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC via Steam.

The beta will also be playable on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S but these will be backwards compatible versions, not a native port, which means you'll get the same performance and visuals as players on PS4 and Xbox One so keep that in mind.

Here are the dates:

  • April 8, 2021 2:00 AM (EDT) to April 11, 2021 2:00 AM (EDT)
  • April 7, 2021 11:00 PM (PDT) to April 10, 2021 11:00 PM (PDT)

In order to access the beta, you'll need to register a Capcom ID and link your account to the PC or console where you will be playing. Capcom also mention that this beta test will test the game's system, balance and servers and that players should expect maintenance during the testing.

Also, if you have downloaded the closed beta test version of the game then you will not need to re-download the game for the open beta test.
