After getting a system on 13 January, Grid will soon see more post-launch content in the form of a Season Two and the Track Day Supercars pack. The features will launch on 12 February for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The update is also "coming soon" for the Stadia version of the game.
The new update will bring six cars, alongside another Career mode expansion and the addition of the Red Bull Ring. Players who own the Ultimate Edition of the game will get the full slate of content, and there’s going to be plenty of free additions as well.
Season Two’s line-up of new cars
Ultimate Edition players will get their hands on the following cars:
- Ferrari FXX
- Aston Martin Vulcan AMR Pro
- Brabham BT62
- Pagani Zonda Revolución
In Career and Multiplayer, the Pagani Zonda will be available to race as a loan car for all players. The Track Day Supercars pack includes two more vehicles, that will be available to everyone for free:
- Ferrari 599XX Evo
- Ford GT Heritage Edition
The Red Bull Ring
Austria’s Red Bull Ring has been a staple of world motorsport championships for 50 years and it's now making its way into Grid as well. The Ring's layout has barely changed since 1996 and the track is known for its ability to create some drama with braking zones and overtaking opportunities.
Grid players will be able to access the new circuit via Career, Free Play, and Multiplayer.
Season 2 will expand the Career mode some more by adding 33 events using the Red Bull Ring and four Track Day Supercars. The selection of races, two new threads, fresh Showdown events, and the latest Ravenwest Motorsport challenge will be available to the players after they purchase Season 2 or if they already own Grid Ultimate Edition.
Players who own the Day One or Standard Edition will have the opportunity to purchase each season and piece of content individually.
