Codemasters' racing game GRID will be getting a fresh season this month. The news was announced via the game's Twitter account. The teaser shared with the announcement didn't show much in terms of new content.
GRID Season 3 is going to drop this month, according to the game's Twitter account. The recent tweet reads "We ain't foolin'.GRID Season 3, arriving this month." The teaser video was stingy on the visual details but a V8 sounding engine can be heard in the background.
The fans have flocked to the comment section to point out the bad (or the brilliant) timing of the announcement and demand the return of drifting as well as a longer season this time around.
GRID Season 3's Microsoft Store page teases the Track Day Hypercars pack. The pack apparently includes four brand new cars, along with 30 new Career events plus new rewards and accolades to earn. Each Season contains timed objectives in which you can't take part in once the objectives have passed, but you can still earn the rewards.
GRID Season 2
GRID's Season 2 brought six new cars, a further Career expansion, and a new circuit. It also gave the players a chance to drive iconic cars made by Ferrari, Pagani, Brabham and others, and conquer the legendary Red Bull Ring circuit.

Those who gave the Red Bull Ring a spin could do so with multiple routes, weather conditions and time of day options.
Season 2's Track Day Supercars pack included:
- Ferrari FXX
- Aston Martin Vulcan AMR Pro
- Brabham BT62
- Pagani Zonda Revolución
Plus, two bonus cars
- Ferrari 599 XX Evo
- Ford GT Heritage Edition
The exact release date for GRID Season 3 is still to be announced.
