Sony has confirmed that another State of Play is on the way later this week. A PlayStation tweet has officially announced that the February 2026 State of Play is scheduled for February 12.
The latest State of Play from Sony could be one of their biggest in recent months. Sony officially confirmed the report from several journalists at the end of last month.
The PlayStation console host shared a tweet confirming the date, and announcing that the showcase will be over an hour long. Expectations are high for what Sony will have to show off as they have said there will be both first and third-party announcements.
February State of Play Date, Time, and Duration Confirmed
PlayStation announced on its official X account that the February State of Play is scheduled for February 12, 2026. The stream will take place live on YouTube and Twitch starting at:
- 2 pm PT
- 5 pm ET
- 11 pm CEST
- 7 am JST on February 13
PlayStation says that the presentation will be over an hour long and will include news, gameplay updates, and announcements from game studios around the world.
This is significantly longer than most past State of Play videos, which usually lasted between half an hour and an hour. Sony also says that there will be “updates on the latest eye-catching third-party and indie games coming to PS5”, as well as footage from their own PlayStation Studios teams.
What PlayStation Fans Can Expect
While nothing has been confirmed for what games will appear in the stream, there are a handful of titles we are expecting to see. Games that are currently in development for PlayStation that have not received a new update lately include Marvel’s Wolverine, Marathon, and Saros.
In addition to games we know about, there are also some big mysteries as to what could show up. Rumours have suggested that God of War and Spider-Man could both appear in the stream, but PlayStation has given no indication that these games will be shown.
Granted, we do not expect to see another reveal of Sony’s next console during the State of Play, but with over an hour of content, Sony definitely has a lot to say.
