Blizzard have rolled out a new Overwatch patch, migrating the changes from the Public Test Realm, which as you know nerfed Brigitte's shield bash and tweaked Doomfist, among other changes. The patch also kicked off Winter Wonderland 2018.

Brigitte's shield bash will now no longer travel or stun targets through barriers, finally, and its damage is down from 50 to 5. Her inspire ability's cooldown is down from 1.5 to 1 second but Blizzard offset it by increasing total healing up from 80 to 100 and increasing the duration from 5 to 6 seconds.

Overwatch's Doomfist enthusiasts are likely to have to get used to him again, because seismic slam's maximum range is down from 20 to 15 meters. Meteor strike's inner damage radius is up from 1.5 to 2.0 meters, while the outer ring is down from 300 to 200. Rising uppercut's loss of air control duration is down from 3 to 0.6 seconds.

Bastion got some love as well, as Blizzard wrote that Alexa's distant cousin "could use a little bit of an offensive boost to balance out how vulnerable Configuration: Recon’s bulky size and Sentry’s stationary nature make it." So, Bastion's recon ammo is up from 25 to 35, while sentry's weapon spread is up to 33 per cent lower.

The Overwatch team also made some changes on McCree's Peacekeeper, where alternate fire deals 55 instead of 45. Soldier 76's tactical visor will not force helix rockets to lock onto enemies, so players can "freely aim helix rockets while still auto-aiming his primary fire".

Overwatch's Red Dead Redemption 2 flavoured addition, Ashe, will now have a golden tinted Bob whenever she equips her golden weapon. Last but not least is Torbjorn, whose molten core now deals 160 damage instead of the earlier 130.

Blizzard also kicked off Winter Wonderland 2018, which brings a metric ton of cosmetics, visual changes to Overwatch's maps and two brawls - Yeti Hunter and Mei's Snowball Offensive. Yeti Hunter has five Meis fighting one Yeti player, who's basically Winston, while the Snowball Offensive has a bunch of Meis chucking high powered snowballs.
