The latest patch for Overwatch 2 made some much-needed changes to the game after the massive overhaul of the game in their last patch. This patch made crucial changes to Heros of all classes.

Overwatch 2 just received a new update that brings massive changes to tank, support, and damage Heroes alike. Blizzard released this Retail Patch on February 21 across all platforms.

The main objective of this patch was to stabilize the game further after their last patch. Most of these changes were buffs while only a few were nerfs.

Overwatch 2 players need to adjust themselves to these changes as the meta has shifted drastically in Season 9, especially after the addition of a new rank, the Champion's Rank.

Here are all the changes made to Heros on the latest Reail Patch on February 21, 2024:

D. VA

  • D. Va's Light Gun projectile is now 0.2 meters instead of 0.25 meters
  • Her total projectile size is now 0.3 meters.

Hanzo

  • Hanzo's base projectile size is now 0.075 meters instead of 0.1 meters.
  • Her total projectile size is now 0.175 meters

Illari

  • Her Healing Pylon's cooldown is now lower going from 8 to 6 seconds.
  • Healing Pylon's cooldown after getting destroyed is also lower, going down from 15 seconds to 12 seconds
  • Her ability Captive Sun's Sunstruck now deals 160 damage
  • Sunstruck's explosion's damage has now been reduced by 25%

Junkrat

  • Junkrat's Concussion Mine now has lowered cooldown, 7 seconds
  • His maximum Damage is now 120 instead of 110
  • His minimum Damage is now 55 instead of 20

Lucio

  • Lucio's Sonic Amplifier ability's base projectile's size is now smaller, 0.1 meter.  The total projectile size is now 0.25 meters.

Mercy

  • Mercy's Caduceus Blasters' base projectiles are now smaller, going from 0.25 meters to 0.2 meters. The total projectile is now 0.3 meters.

Roadhog

  • Roadhog's ability, Take a Breather now has more damage reduction. 50% instead of 40%

Zarya

  • Zarya's Particle Cannon's Primary fire does a minimum damage of 95 damage per second.
  • Zarya's Particle Cannon's Primary fire does a maximum damage of 190 damage per second.

Soldier: 76

  • Soldier 76's  Heavy Pulse Rifle's hitscan projectile size is now 0.05 meters.

Tracer

  • Tracer's Pulse Pistols falloff range is now 10 instead of 12

Widowmaker

  • Widowmaker's ability Widow's Kiss now uses smaller hitscan projectiles, 0.05 meters. Its total projectile size is 0.05 meters.
  • Her Scoped shot's range is now 50-70 meters.

Zenyatta

  • Zenyatta's health is now 75 instead of 100
  • Her Snap Kick's knockback now deals 25% less damage
