Overwatch 2 Ashe

The first-person-shooter Overwatch 2 just started its Season 9. This season came massive changes to the game, and more importantly to the Heroes. Blizzard made these changes to stabilize the meta and for a balanced experience for players.

Overwatch 2 is a sequel to the 2016 hero shooter Overwatch. Currently, Season 9 is the latest update for the game, and with it came massive changes. Starting from Heroes to maps to even a new coveted rank, the Champions Rank, Blizzard made sure to leave no stone unturned.

While most of the changes done to Heroes may seem small, the main aim was to balance the game by adjusting all the Heroes that are not performing as intended.

All the  changes made to Damage Heroes in Overwatch 2 Season 9

Here are all the changes that were made to Damage Heroes:

Ashe

  • Ashe's health is now 250 instead of 200
  • Her B.O.B's weapon's damage is now 17 from 14

Bastion

  • Bastion's health is now 250 instead of 200

Cassidy

  • Cassidy's health is now 275 instead of 225
  • His Deadeye's initial damage rate is now 150 instead of 130
  • Deadeye's damage rate also increased going from 260 to 300

Echo

  • Echo's health is now 250 from 200
  • Her Focusing Beam width is now 0.25 meters. 
  • Her Duplicate ability's combined health is now 350 instead of 300

Genji

  • Genji's health is now 250 instead of 200
  • His Dragonblade's swing recovery time is now lowered from 0.9 seconds to 0.7 seconds

Hanzo

  • Hanzo's health is now 250 instead of 200
  • His Storm Arrows' damage increased to 75
  • His Storm Arrows' cooldown is now lowered to 8 seconds

Junkrat

  • Junkrat's health is now 250 instead of 200
  • His Frag Launcher's projectile size is now smaller, 0.2 meters

  • Mei's health was increased from 250 to 300

Reaper

  • Reaper's health is now 300 instead of 250

Sojourn

  • Sojourn's health is now 250 instead of 200
  • Her Railgun's secondary fire's base projectile is now smaller, 0.07 meters

Soldier: 76

  • Soldier 76's health is now 250 instead of 200

Sombra

  • Sombra's  health is now 250 instead of 200

Symmetra

  • Symmetra's shield is now 150 from 100.

TorbjÖrn

  • TorbjÖrn's health is now 250 instead of 200

Tracer

  • Tracer's health is now 175 instead of 150

Widowmaker

  • Widowmaker's health is now 200 instead of 175

The main job of Damage Champions is to slowly whittle down and destroy the enemy team with their high damage output. As you can clearly see most of these changes focused on the heroes' health. This means they will be able to handle more punishment and last longer in fights while dealing massive damage from the back.
