Call of Duty Black Ops 4 Operation Grand Heist has finally landed on PC and Xbox One along with the new update which arrives to all platforms. The update adds a new Blackout quick equip item system which allows vertical stacking of items.
After a week of exclusivity for PlayStation 4 players, Treyarch have finally launched one of the biggest Call of Duty Black Ops 4 updates yet on PC and Xbox One.
One of the most notable changes in the new patch is the upgraded Blackout quick equip item system. Treyarch have added the option to stack items of similar types vertically for easier access and less clutter. For example, healing items will appear in their own category that will allow for fast scrolling through First Aid, Med Kits and Trauma Kits.
If it happens that the new addition is not to your liking, you can toggle the setting off in the Blackout section of the Options menu, just under Quick Equip Item Cycling.
Additionally, the patch includes Hardcore Map Pack Moshpit and Mercenary Objective Moshpit featured playlists.
There's also an update to PC playlists in Zombies and Multiplayer to allow faster matchmaking across all game modes. These efforts should be welcomed by PC players who reported long matchmaking issues for Blackout and Zombies modes.
Many players have commented in Treyarch's Reddit post, saying that it's almost impossible to find a match for modes like Chaos Domination, and that Blackout matches are almost never filled entirely, suggesting that a major overhaul is needed for the PC version to keep the players engaged.
League Play and World League Hub are also coming to PC and Xbox One on Thursday - 28 February 2019. Just a day after that, a new Hot Pursuit game mode will be added to Blackout. This mode brings three new vehicles to Black Out 4's battle royale - the SUV, Muscle Car, and PBR.
