Nintendo have shared an official announcement trailer for Splatoon 3 during last night's Nintendo Direct. The game is scheduled for release in 2022 and it looks pretty gritty
During the February Nintendo Direct, Nintendo have revealed some fresh information about their existing games but have also announced some new titles. One of these new titles is the third game in popular 4v4 ink shooter series Splatoon.
Yes, Splatoon 3 got an announcement trailer, which showcases some gameplay, characters, maps and character customisation. One thing you will probably notice immediately is that the game does not look as colourful as previous titles, especially in those early moments of the trailer.
Nintendo also confirmed that the game is targeting 2022 but sadly, did not mention a more specific release date so we don't really know if the game is coming in the first or the second half of the upcoming year.
