Nintendo have officially announced Nintendo Direct livestream for tomorrow - September 23, 2021. The stream will run for roughly 40 minutes focusing on Nintendo Switch games launching this winter.
After a long wait and many rumours and leaks, Nintendo will finally host another Nintendo Direct live stream. The company officially announced the date for the online event - It's happening on Thursday, September 23, 2021, at 3: 00 PM PT / 6:00 PM ET / 00:00 CET. The time of the live stream comes as a surprise since Nintendo usually host their events much earlier.
Nintendo also confirmed that the live stream will be roughly 40 minutes long, focusing on the games that will be launching on Nintendo Switch this winter. This means that some games that are further away probably won't be at the show but who knows, we may get some surprises.
A safe bet would be Metroid Dread and Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, which are launching this holiday. As for other titles, we really don't know much about Nintendo Switch games beyond 2021, so it's hard to say what exactly will be at the show.
Fans are certainly eager to see more of Bayonetta 3 or Breath of the Wild 2 but don't get your hopes up too much otherwise you'll end up being disappointed.
We think a new Super Smash Bros. Ultimate character could also be announced.
