Destiny 2 will continue trying to shake up the PvP meta and refresh PvE and one of the main components for this, the armour mechanics, will be shown at the next TWAB.
Bungie usually posts TWABs each Thursday, meaning the next one is scheduled for August 12, 2021. Normally, they can bring big or not so big news for the future of Destiny 2 but the next one is pretty significant.
According to dmg_04 , the Dunker of Cheaters, first of his name, the next TWAB will focus on the armour changes that will arrive with Season 15. The four main points will be the changes to Exotic armour, Traction mod, Ammo mods and Warmind Cells.
Warmind Cells have been a point of contention for a while because they are so powerful and Bungie will probably nerf them to bring them in line with other mods.
Traction mod is a convenience mod and might get removed entirely, simply applying its benefits to everyone in the process. Console players stand to benefit the most if this change happens, due to the limited turning speed on controllers.
Ammo armour mods section probably refers to the Scavenger ones, at least in Crucible. Many players asked for changes or to completely disable the mod in PvP since it allows for practically unlimited Special ammo, effectively turning off the one weak point of the one-shot weapons.
It's currently unclear what the Exotic armour tuning will be all about but thankfully, it's only a matter of hours before the TWAB pops up and we find out through official channels.
