Fans waiting to experience Diablo 4 in a way that resembles a finished product have some good news coming their way.
Diablo 4 will have an open beta from March 24 to 26, 2023, meaning there is about a month's wait from the announcement until the moment you get your hands on the new entry in the beloved series.
If you just can't wait that long and have to get it as soon as possible, there will be an early access to the open beta for those who pre-order, running from March 17 to 19.
As ridiculous as it sounds, yes, Activision Blizzard is pushing early access to an open beta test.
During both the open beta and the early access, players will be able to experience Prologue and Act 1 of the game, which sounds like quite the chunk of content to enjoy.
Additionally, players will be able to reach level 25 in this slice of Diablo 4.
From the moment the open beta ends, there will be just over two months of wait time until the full release comes along.
Keep in mind that just like with any other digital product, Diablo 4 scarcity can only be artificial, meaning that the companies are intentionally degrading the players' experience to push them into preordering something that doesn't go out of stock.
