New Line Cinema also announced that Wu Assassins and Deadpool 2 actor Lewis Tan has joined the cast but the company did not disclose his role. Many assumed that Tan would play Scorpion which was one of the available major roles.

However, that won't be the case as New Line Cinema confirm the next additions to Mortal Kombat film cast.
