NetherRealm's interaction with Mortal Kombat 11 community has been a strange one, at the very least. Ed Boon, the Creative Director of Mortal Kombat 11 is regularly teasing the new content to players via his Twitter account, which may had its effect shortly after the launch of the game, but today, two months since the game released, it's only making players frustrated and angry.
The reason for this is the lack of proper details about Mortal Kombat 11's DLC characters, which were announced almost two months ago and still, the info remains at the minimum.
One of these DLC fighters is Nightwolf, first in line to arrive to Mortal Kombat 11. There is no release date for Nightwolf and we're yet to see any gameplay footage of the fighter. However, it looks like that's finally about to change this week.
In another tease on Twitter, Ed Boon confirmed that NetherRealm Studios are looking to bring some Nightwolf-related info on Thursday, 01 August 2019. "Fingers krossed on Thursday we should be sending The Wolf," Boon wrote.
Now, it's not exactly clear what Boon is referring to. We doubt it's a release date, since we're yet to see gameplay and NetheRealm love to show off their fighters long before they actually introduce them to the roster. A gameplay trailer or a full reveal is probably more likely with the release date confirmation.
According to the earlier leaks, NetherRealm will add Nightwolf to Mortal Kombat 11 on 13 August 2019, which sounds very likely. It gives NetherRealm enough time to properly reveal the character and drive up the hype by sharing new details about his fatalities, moves and skins.

Nightwolf will be followed by and Spawn, along with two yet unannounced fighters. Rumours suggest that the Joker and the Terminator could arrive to the roster, but nothing is confirmed at the moment.
