Mortal Kombat 11 is set to introduce DLC fighter Nightwolf on 13 August 2019 it's been revealed in the latest trailer. Nightwolf will be available early to those who purchased Kombat Pack while everyone else will wait until 20 August.
After many teases by NetherRealm and Ed Boon himself, Mortal Kombat 11 is finally set to introduce the second DLC character to the fighting roster. As teased earlier this week, a new trailer dropped, featuring Nightwolf, who will arrive on 13 August 2019 for those who purchased the Kombat Pack.
Unfortunately, the mere mortals - those who don't own the pack - will have to wait a bit longer for their chance to play as Nightwolf since the fighter will arrive seven days later - 20 August 2019.
The new trailer shows the Native American warrior in action with all his moves and brutal fatalities. Those who played previous Mortal Kombat games should be familiar with him and his fighting style.
As seen in the gameplay footage above, he uses his tomahawk and bow and arrow as his main weapons. He also stabs his opponent with a dagger, which is being demonstrated on poor Baraka, who didn't take it quite well.
Nightwolf can also teleport and channel energy from his bear and wolf pets, while his hawk can be used to stun the opponent. As for the finishers, we also got to see a couple of them. The one we liked the most is the combination of bow and arrow and tomahawk.
Nightwolf first shoots three arrows into the opponent, then runs at them, putting his tomahawk into the opponent's neck and finally, he electrifies the tomahawk, for devastating shock damage.
Anyway, now that players finally know the release date of Nightwolf, they can also look forward to other confirmed DLC characters such as Sindel and Spawn. On 21 August 2019, NetherRealm and WB will release a trailer for Kombat Pack which should include more details about the upcoming fighters.
Mortal Kombat 11 is available on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
