Mojang Studios has released the Minecraft Bedrock Update 1.21.121 to address a handful of bugs and crashes the previous 1.21.120 update identified on the client. This update particularly includes fixes for the Windows and PlayStation version of Minecraft: Bedrock Edition.
Issues included but not limited to wonky mouse and camera movements, as well as client input issues when using more than one language in the game were identified due to player feedback. IME is also back to normal as the company noted full access to inputting non-latin characters is now back to normal. On the PS5, the company noted a memory-corrupted crash due to stacking large add-ons has also been addressed.
Update 1.21.121 is not a feature-update for Minecraft: Bedrock Edition, but rather another resource-patch to help stabilize the platform, and correct issues with the Bedrock Edition, as noted with resource-pack settings not being saved.
Version Overview
- Windows Edition - Distributed via Microsoft Store
- PlayStation 4 - Version 3.24
- PlayStation 5 - Version 01.034.000
- Release Date - 4 November 2025
Fixes and Improvements
Input Changes
The Bedrock version 1.21.121 changes and fixes involve mouse and camera issues. A Windows problem which locked the mouse cursor to the center of the screen after players tried to resume the game from the Task Manager has been fixed.
Another fix stops the camera from snapping to random directions after closing a UI element and clicking a mouse button. IME support has also been re-enabled to ensure proper multilingual text input for supported languages.
Stability and Performance
The game will no longer crash because of its data-driven renderer. Additionally, a PS5 bug, which caused the game to crash when memory allocation became too large by stacking many large add-ons, has been corrected.
These changes should improve the game's stability, specifically for users with multiple resource packs and other community content.
User Interface
A bug that made resource-pack settings not apply ingame has been fixed.
