Almost three years since the release, players are still discovering interesting easter eggs in Red Dead Redemption 2. The latest one apparently has a connection to GTA VI and Houser brothers.

YouTuber Strange Man has published a video where he speculates about the new easter egg found in Red Dead Redemption 2, which apparently teases the setting of the game and the Houser brothers' "struggles" with Rockstar's parent company Take-Two.

The easter egg is actually a dead body that can be found in the desert region of Red Dead Redemption 2. Upon discovering the body which is being picked by the crows, there's a letter that you can loot and read.

"Letter From Brother Rodolfo to Cardinal Blanco" is the title of the letter, in which Brother Rodolfo is trying to talk out Cardinal Blanco from heading east. He asks him to stay in California. "I beg you to reconsider your plant leave the mission," it's written in the letter.

Cardinal Blanco is leaving to the east and as you may know, Miami (Vice City), which has been rumoured to be the setting of GTA VI, is on the East coast of the United States of America.

Stange Man speculates that Brother Rodolfo, who wrote the letter is actually Dan Houser, the man who wrote GTA and Red Dead Redemption games as well as Max Payne 3 and Bully, while Cardinal Blanco, who is leaving to the east, is Dan's brother Sam Houser, the creative mind behind the GTA games.

The video also explains that the letter is actually an "inside joke" on the GTA VI and GTA V situations. The letter apparently mentions Rockstar's struggles with Take-Two: "Sometimes, politics and the ways of the church are not as pure as perhaps you wish they were"

The YouTuber speculates that Sam Houser is frustrated by Take-Two's focus on GTA Online and wants to make a new game, while his brother Dan is asking him to be patient since Take-Two won't always agree with them.

"We must live in the world as it is, amongst men, some of who are both very powerful and not entirely receptive to our message. Such is the King at this time, to at least, so are his envoys."

Now that we have got the core of the speculation out of the way, there are a couple of things that do not make sense here. First, why would Dan Houser be the one to write the letter and ask his brother Sam to stay with Rockstar when Dan actually left the company in early 2020.

If the letter is actually written from one Houser brother to another, it's more likely that Sam is the one who writes it, asking Dan to stay and focus on GTA Online.

But just like the video, this is all speculation and it's entirely possible that the letter doesn't actually have any connection to the Houser brothers, GTA VI location or Rockstar's struggles with Take-Two.

Though, it is quite interesting the way that the letter has been written, to say the least.

GTA VI is currently in development at Rockstar  but don't expect the game to launch before 2024/2025.
