Rockstar Games has kept GTA Online alive with countless updates and new content addition since the game's launch. Players have been getting new business DLCs almost every year, allowing them to keep their gameplay rotation fresh.
As Rockstar Games has been diverted their full attention to Grand Theft Auto 6, they were unable to release a major update for GTA Online in 2024. Fortunately, they have confirmed that they will be releasing a massive summer update for GTA online soon including a new business DLC and additional new content.
GTA Online's Massive Summer Update is Coming Soon
In their latest blog post for the GTA Online update, Rockstar Games shared their vision for the new update, "This summer, it’s time for some (high-value) target practice to clean up the roving reprobates of Southern San Andreas with your very own bail enforcement and bounty hunting business in the next major update for GTA Online."
The summer update will introduce a new bail enforcement and bounty hunting business. The new business will be available for purchase like other businesses, such as Salvage Yard and Agency.
Aside from the new business, players will be greeted by a well-known face, Vincent Effenburger. After the Cluckin' Bell Heist, Vincent will ask players to help him with a new off-the-book operation. The new operation will feature the similar vigilante espionage theme of the previous raid mission.
The new update will also players to create their own drag and drift races through the creator mode. Furthermore, Rockstar Games has also announced that they will be making changes to the payout ratios of different missions and jobs in the game.
Most notably Operation Paper Trail, Open Wheel Races, and Taxi Work will get affected by the new payout changes. Solo players will also get an increased payout during sell missions for their businesses.
